The Studio
PoppArt Studios is the creative video department at Dropped Pencil LLC. The studio handles all manner of production work, including scripting, filming, set construction, music recording, and post production activities.
The big project in the studio at present is the Fred and Susie television series. Dropped Pencil launched the program in 2009 as a home DVD series, and made the transition to television in 2012. The studio produces the shows and has constructed more than 40 puppets for the program. The Fred and Susie Show is carried by broadcasters worldwide. Fred and Susie are also reaching beyond television. Dropped Pencil has recently partnered with the children's educational website Highbrow to provide some Fred and Susie segments. This is a subscription service providing streamed video content on a variety of subjects for children ages 2 to 13. You can learn more about Highbrow at www.joinhighbrow.com.
